
We are looking for experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Engineers (3–9 years) with strong expertise in TARA, CSMS, security architecture, cryptography, and ISO/SAE 21434 & UNECE R155 compliance. The role involves driving cybersecurity activities across the full automotive product lifecycle (RFQ to SOP) in collaboration with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute automotive cybersecurity activities across the complete product development lifecycle — from RFQ to SOP.
- Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434.
- Define and review cybersecurity concepts, architectures, and product-level controls for both hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into design, development, and validation stages.
- Support the development and implementation of Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) and ensure compliance with UNECE R155.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on security implementation and risk mitigation strategies.
Technical Skills Required:
- Core Automotive Cybersecurity Experience:
3–5 years or 5–9 years of hands-on experience specifically in automotive cybersecurity (not overall work experience). - In-depth Knowledge of:
- Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) implementation and compliance
- Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) methodologies
- Security Architecture Design for both hardware and software systems
- Cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Product Cybersecurity Controls — design, validation, and integration
- Automotive Cybersecurity Standards: ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155
- Automotive Product Lifecycle Expertise:
Strong understanding of the end-to-end automotive product development lifecycle, from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to SOP (Start of Production). - Industry Collaboration Experience:
Proven track record of working closely with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers within the automotive domain.
